Investing in the business for our customers

As the end of the 2007/08 financial year approaches we have been reviewing our capital investment on behalf of our customers. Here are some of the outcomes as a result of our investment in better infrastructure:
- Created and filled additional local support positions in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
- Established local call Help Desk support numbers for Brisbane and Sydney.
- Introduction of face to face training services out of Brisbane and Sydney offices.
- Expanded Skype call coverage for long distance and overseas calls.
- Launched the first ever full service Saturday Help Desk in addition to usual after hours support coverage.
- Launched exclusive online training program - already attended by hundreds of participants, many participating in two or three sessions - based on the world renowned WebEx platform and using smart camera and other technology.
- Established new in-house phone system to make call management easier and seamless across out network of offices.
- Published twenty new advice sheets.
- Expanded access for remote connection to user locations for rapid resolution of any issue as if one of our experts was on site.
- Expanded the free training program for people buying a business where Tower software is run to include additional free services to clean the system in advance of take-over.
- Launched a new national CRM system linking all departments in our company for a common customer view - a $150,000+ project.
- Delivered in excess of 70 face to face user meetings / group training sessions around Australia.
- Printed and distributed new support access cards to all Tower users to ensure easy access to Help Desk team as well as senior company management.
- Launched a new electronic products platform which opens new product opportunities for our customers without additional capital expense of their part.
- Strengthened company management to better protect the business for all stakeholders.
There is plenty more, some of which we will not discuss publicly because the longer competitors don’t know the better.
I am proud of the list as it sets us apart. These achievements and the supporting investments are not smoke and mirrors. It takes serious investment to support a total customer base of 2,500 small businesses. Over the coming new financial year we will, through these initiatives and new initiatives planned, take Tower Systems to a new level and serve our customers even better than today.
