In response to requests from retailers using our software who employ high school students, we are scheduling a couple of training sessions for 4pm on week days to enable these students to better learn how to use the software.

While we have an excellent suite of training videos which cover our POS software fundamentals and key functions, it is the live training which interests most people new to the software.  We spent the first part of the session prividing structured training and the rest covering questions from the participants.

We will finalise dates on Monday for the high school student training sessions.

Jefree Lim has been today promoted to the new role of National Support Manager for Tower Systems.  This is one of several changes we are making to better position us to handle our growing customer base.

As National Support Manager, Jefree will be responsible for call traffic management, support call quality and customer service.  Jefree has been with the company for years and has deep technical knowledge of the software and a strong commitment to excellent customer service.

We are reviewing the video training resources we have developed for our Point of Sale software and the download data from the last year.

The review of our POS software video training aims to fill gaps in creating a training curriculum on key topics. While some topics can be covered in one training video, others are best handled by breaking them down into several sessions.

The feedback from our customers on the video training is proving to be most helpful, they love the content and that it can be done anywhere and anytime.

Now that we are settled in our new office and have better recording facilities, we will be taping additional training in the next few weeks.

Tower Systems has loaded a new training video (A26) to its website for users of its Point of Sale software.   Stocktake - Preparation and Practice: What, When, Why and How offers excellent training on preparing for a stocktake.

The video content includes a plain English explanation of what a stocktake is, the value to the business of an accurate stocktake and why some processes involved are necessary.  It provides excellent background to the whole process.

We are making this training video a prerequisite for participation in our stocktake workshops.  This way we know that everyone participating has a common level of knowledge.

Producing and publishing fresh training content such as this new video is the Tower Advantage ^TM live and in action for our customers.  It is proof of our commitment to continue to innovate and help our customers unlock more value from their investment in the software technology we sell and support.

We have published a new training video and loaded this to our website under downloads.  Focused on the Monthly Sales Comparison Report in our Point of Sale software, this new video takes viewers behind the numbers in the report and explains how the report can help drive greater retailer success.

This training video (A24) demonstrates our commitment to helping retailers using our Point of Sale softwasre get more out of the system than a cash register replacement.  We want to help our customers achive genuine sales growth and cost savings.  These two goals can be achieved through deeper engagement with our software.  This new training video and others on our website provide knowledge and insight into more profitable use of the software.
